MAST is committed to maintaining a high quality of service delivery which are always participant focused. MAST has a compliance policy and procedure and continuous improvement processes in place to ensure M.A.S.T. and its workers are compliant with all relevant standards, laws, and regulations, including NDIS Practice Standards and the NDIS Code of Conduct. All staff at MAST agree to adhere to the NDIS standards and take relevant measures to ensure there is no breach of compliance. This is done to ensure M.A.S.T. can effectively promote and provide quality support for all participants.
My Abilities Support Teams’ staff must adhere to the NDIS Practice Standards, and the NDIS Code of Conduct and stay informed of changes and updates to practice standards. M.A.S.T. will inform staff when changes to standards and guidelines are introduced and will incorporate required updates into M.A.S.T. policies, procedures and practices.
All M.A.S.T. staff must complete induction training to ensure they are aware of the importance of working in accordance with NDIS Practice Standards and the NDIS Code of Conduct. Other training and orientation relevant to their role, police clearances and worker screening is required prior to working with participants.
All employees of M.A.S.T. will implement and adhere to the NDIS Practice Standards, providing all participants with quality, best practice care and support.
M.A.S.T. will maintain certification against these Standards every three years. Maintenance audits are undertaken on a 12-18-month basis based on the services provided.
